FAQ
What makes the VHP X different from the VHP 7?
The VHP X builds on the same platform logic but pushes adjustability further. You can now tune travel, wheel setup, and chainstay length within one frame — without changing the core ride feel. It’s not a new bike replacing the VHP 7. It’s a more adaptable version of the same idea.
How much travel does the VHP X have?
That depends on your shock setup:
185 × 55 → ~154 mm
205 × 65 → ~177 mm
225 × 75 → ~200 mm
You’re not locked into one category — you define the bike.
Can I change travel later?
Yes. The frame is designed to work with all three shock lengths.
You can change travel by swapping the shock (and adjusting stroke if needed).
What’s the difference between 29” and MX?
29” → more stability, better rollover, faster in rough terrain
MX (mullet) → shorter rear feel, more playful, easier to move
The front-end feel stays consistent — only the rear behavior changes.
What do the dropout options do?
Dropouts adjust the chainstay length:
Short (+0) → more agile, easier to manual
Long (+20 / +30) → more stability, better front-wheel grip
It’s one of the most powerful tuning tools on the bike.
Which setup should I choose?
154 mm → trail / playful enduro
177 mm → balanced enduro (most riders)
200 mm → bike park / freeride / DH focus
If you’re unsure: start with 177 mm + 29" + +10 dropout.
Is the geometry the same across setups?
The front triangle stays consistent.
Travel, wheels, and dropouts change:
rear length
wheelbase
bottom bracket height
head angle (slightly)
But the core fit and balance remain the same.
Does the bike get heavier with longer travel?
Yes — slightly. Longer shocks and forks add weight, but the difference is relatively small compared to the change in capability.
Why no adjustable bottom bracket?
We tested it — and chose not to include it. The different travel and wheel setups already define BB height in a meaningful way without adding complexity or compromising stiffness.
Is the VHP X still a high pivot bike?
Yes. It uses our VHP (Virtual High Pivot) system with idler pulley, keeping the same suspension behavior:
stable under braking
strong traction
composed at speed
When will the VHP X be available?
The first batch is released via an early access/underground launch.
Public availability follows after initial production.
What are the real benefits for me as a rider?
You get one bike that adapts to:
different terrain
different riding styles
different stages of progression
Instead of replacing your bike — you evolve it.
